Who We Are
International Christian Fellowship is an international student campus ministry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign that establishes and advances witnessing communities of students.
We desire to build friendships with international students, scholars, postdocs and their families. You don't have to be a specific religious background, we welcome anyone who is interested to attend our family group bible studies, family reunion worship gatherings, social events, and conferences.
OUR VISION IS TO:
- INVITE international students at UIUC
- to EXPLORE faith and culture
- in vibrant, WITNESSING COMMUNITIES
- COMMITTED to hospitality, prayer, and loving Jesus.
We are affiliated with the national movement InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA, an interdenominational campus ministry active on over 600 campuses nationwide.
InterVarsity traces its roots to a movement of British university students in the 1870s. The first InterVarsity chapter in the United States began in 1938 at the University of Michigan. Since InterVarsity was incorporated in 1941, thousands of students have become thoughtful representatives of God’s kingdom and have moved into leadership roles in churches, organizations, corporations and agencies around the world. For more information, you can check out the national movement's website at www.intervarsity.org.
